Life’s biggest puzzle, greatest mystery, Is that we live our lives as if we don’t or can’t know the answers to the big questions. We ask our heads to work it out when our hearts already know the answer ... We call it our gut reaction:
We know there is a God, (The Beautiful Creation reveals a Wonderful creator) We know he must be good or we would all be a race of slave - like robots forced to do his bidding.We know he must love us or why did he give us such a beautiful home?
We know we do or don’t have a great relationship with him (loneliness) We know when we do what he has said would be wrong or harmful (conscience) We know our present life is unfulfilling and that no amount of distraction helps us to forget it!
We know God loves and allows us to decide if we will have life as he intended It (forgiven and meaningful). We know how to get it - (talk to him and ask - pray). We know it costs us nothing to give him everything we are (faith) because it cost him everything.
We know our gains would be eternal (Peace with God in life now, then Heaven), our deliberate ignorance would be pardoned (forgiveness) and the balance restored (reconciliation). We know the past would be resolved, the future would make sense and the present would be secure (provision)
