On the Scientific Evidence page, we told you this: "Bear in mind that the BIBLE was written 2,000 - 3,000 YEARS AGO!"
Did you know that it is also actually a collection of books, 66 in total, authored by over 40 different divinely inspired people, and is split into two parts, the Old and New testaments.
Not only that but a period of around 400 years separates the Old from the New!
Sections of the old include predictions God made through people who became known as prophets. There are over 2,00 predictions (prophecies) in the old testament alone! They are not meant to be kept hidden and locked away!
It has been said that the Old testament potrays and predicts mankinds need for, and the circumstances of the coming of the saviour of the world. The New is the fulfilment of his coming. Wouldn't it make sense then that the old prophesied his coming and the new would show these as fake, or not? Bear in mind the manuscripts are hundreds of years apart. Below are just some of the Old testament prophecies and how they were fulfilled in The Lord Jesus. If these don't astound you do some research yourself. But be warned! in his lifetime Jesus was the fulfilment of over 300 Old testament predictions! You won't find any authentic contradictions anywhere!
To check these for yourself please note if soemthing is noted as Isaiah 7:14, this means the book is called Isaiah the chapter is 7 and the verse is number 14.
